STROQ is a simple, student‑friendly productivity app for daily streaks, questions, and to‑dos. We designed STROQ so you can use it without creating an account, granting device permissions, or sharing personal data. This policy explains what information we handle (and mostly, what we do not).

None. STROQ does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on our servers because we do not operate any servers for the app’s core features. All content you create—such as tasks, custom questions, and streak history—remains locally on your device.

- Custom question bank and daily answers
- Imported question bank PDFs and their metadata (e.g., file name)
- Streak counts and history
- Theme preference (light/dark)
This information never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or back it up using your OS tools.
Data we don’t collect
- No names, emails, phone numbers, or identifiers
- No usage analytics or crash reports
- No location, contacts, calendar, photos, or unrelated files
- No advertising identifiers or tracking
4) App Permissions
STROQ does not request or require sensitive device permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, or location. The only permission used is file access when you choose to import a PDF question bank. This access is strictly local, and the files remain on your device.
5) Third‑Party Services & SDKs
STROQ integrates no third‑party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or social features. We do not share data with third parties.
6) Data Security
Because your data stays on your device, your operating system’s security, backups, and device access controls (e.g., passcode, biometrics) protect it. We recommend keeping your device updated and secured.
7) Children’s Privacy
STROQ is suitable for students and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the age defined by local law). If you believe a child has shared personal data with us by contacting support, please reach out so we can address it.
8) International Users
STROQ is designed to be privacy‑preserving across regions. Since we do not collect personal data or operate user accounts, most provisions of privacy laws such as the EU GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA do not apply. If you contact us, we will only use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry.
